A Luxury Winter Escape on the Fleurieu Peninsula

Winter on the Fleurieu Peninsula has a quieter, more atmospheric beauty.

From Seascape Retreat, guests can slow into the season with sweeping coastal outlooks, peaceful country drives, cellar doors, long lunches, wildlife-rich landscapes and the chance to experience one of South Australia’s most memorable winter rituals — whale watching along the Victor Harbor coastline.

For couples seeking a weekend getaway from Adelaide, winter offers a different kind of escape. The beaches are quieter, the cellar doors feel more intimate, and the surrounding countryside takes on a calm, restorative character.

Seascape Retreat offers luxury accommodation on the Fleurieu Peninsula for guests who want privacy, comfort and a deeper connection to place. It is close enough to explore Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Goolwa and McLaren Vale, yet private enough to feel like a true adults-only retreat.

Whether the day is spent exploring the coast, visiting local wineries, enjoying a slow lunch, or simply returning to the quiet of the villa, the Fleurieu in winter rewards those who prefer space, nature and stillness over crowds.
